Musicianship Classes with EOIN FALLON and KERRY ANDERSON.
There's no doubt, these classes accelerate the pace of learning an instrument. It's the raw material from which to craft the skill. Playing an instrument is a form of self-expression. Individual tuition focuses on how to hold the instrument for ease, to avoid strain. Musicianship gives the student the skills to read the score, develop the internal hearing necessary to be expressive.
Musicianship classes take place in East Glendalough School, Wicklow town on Saturday mornings at 8.45am with Eoin Flynn. These are group classes and the cost is €10 per class for enrolled students, payable in advance for the term, and run for 45 minutes.
Junior Musicianship classes (beginner to Grade 1) take place in East Glendalough School, Wicklow Town on Saturdays at 1pm with Kerry Anderson. These are €10 per class, payable in advance for the term, and run for one hour.
ALL STUDENTS MUST USE THE MEMBER PRACTISE LOG. See the 'how-to' cheat sheets in your student portal, or contact Therese and she will send them to you.
