Musicianship Classes with MAURA FLYNN and KERRY ANDERSON.

There's no doubt, these classes accelerate the pace of learning an instrument.  It's the raw material from which to craft the skill.  Playing an instrument is a form of self-expression.  Individual tuition focuses on how to hold the instrument for ease, to avoid strain.  Musicianship gives the student the skills to read the score, develop the internal hearing necessary to be expressive.

Musicianship classes take place in East Glendalough School, Wicklow town on Saturday mornings with Maura Flynn.

These are group classes and the cost is €10 per class for enrolled students, payable in advance for the term.

Alternatively, you can join these classes online.  Kerry Anderson will be hosting a beginner class for students up to grade one standard each Saturday at 2:00pm.  These are 6 per class and run for one hour.  Students will need to join on a Whereby platform, and have access to specific (free) software for creating music - details will be supplied upon registration.  ALL STUDENTS MUST USE THE MEMBER PRACTISE LOG. See the 'how-to' cheat sheets in your student portal, or contact Therese and she will send them to you.
